Amid the mountains in south-eastern Galicia, throughout the end of winter, hunters face the wild on a journey against the elements and against themselves. Upon returning, they will join the villagers in a carnival to celebrate the cycles of life.

DIRECTOR'S BIOGRAPHY
Master in Creative Documentary by the Pompeu-Fabra University of Barcelona. Since 2001 he has combined his professional activity (BBC, History Channel, National Geographic) with documentary filmmaking. Since 2013, he is the artistic director of Curtocircuíto IFF (Spain) where he has curated retrospectives together with Ulrich Seidl, Peter Greenaway, Jørgen Leth, Aki Kaurismäki, Abel Ferrara or Sergei Loznitsa among others.
